On June 19, 2013, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Children and Families was conducting a joint investigation involving methamphetamines being manufactured at 356 Chestnut Street in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. This is the residence of Aaron M Miller (02/22/1982) and Leia Lee (10/29/1985). While at the residence, Investigators observed items in plain view that are associated with the “Shake and Bake” method of producing methamphetamines.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and a more thorough search was conducted. The search revealed all the necessary ingredients for the “Shake and Bake” method of producing methamphetamines. There was also a trafficking amount of methamphetamine located that exceeded 200 grams, syringes for injection, and plastic bags used for sale.
Aaron Miller was not at the residence at the time of the search. On June 24, 3013, investigators located Miller back at 356 Chestnut Street. Aaron Miller was placed under arrest and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine (2nd Degree Felony), Trafficking in Methamphetamine (1st Degree Felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1st Degree Misdemeanor).
Aaron Miller was taken to the Walton County Department of Corrections.
