Support Services

Support operations within the sheriff’s office are not often the most visible function of the agency. Much of what they do is “behind the scenes” in support of the law enforcement operations component of the agency. All administrative actions, purchasing, finance, human resources, emergency management, 911 communications, training and IT support issues are addressed by support staff.

Members of support services provide assistance to employees with payroll, insurance and retirement questions. All purchases of supplies and equipment to run the day-to-day operations of the agency are functions of support services.

Support services members are dedicated, professional and knowledgeable in their respective areas of expertise. They are always looking for ways to save money and find a better ways to do business.
