If you wish to commend the actions of any Walton County Sheriff’s Office employee, you can:

• Ask to speak with the employee’s supervisor and verbally express your commendation;
• Download a Commendation/Compliment Form and mail it in;
• You can write a personal letter directly to Sheriff Ralph L. Johnson explaining your commendation; or
• You can also call the Sheriff’s Office and explain your commendation to a Division Supervisor.

Either using the above form or within your personal letter, please provide us with as much detailed information as possible. Once completed, have it notarized if possible. These forms and letters are accepted by mail or in person at either the DeFuniak Springs Main Administration Building or the Santa Rosa Substation.
