The Walton County Sheriff’s Office has made 6 arrests with regard to multiple burglaries that have taken place from January to July of this year in the Driftwood Estates subdivision in Santa Rosa Beach. The following suspects were either involved or connected to entering multiple homes and vehicles, stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of personal property such as jewelry, guns, electronics, fishing equipment and cash. All have been charged with felonies.
Jacob Angelo, 18 of Panama City Beach – Burglary and Theft, 2 Counts
Jonathan Murphy, 22 of Santa Rosa Beach -Dealing in Stolen Property, 1 Count
Miguel Arceo, 16 of Santa Rosa Beach – Burglary, Grand Theft and Criminal Mischief
Roberto DeLaTorre, 18 of Santa Rosa Beach – Burglary and Theft, Multiple Counts
Storm Thayer, 16 of Santa Rosa Beach – Armed Burglary, Grand Theft and Criminal Mischief, Multiple Counts
Thomas Howells, 22 of Defuniak Springs - Burglary, Grand Theft and Criminal Mischief, 8 Counts
